Best way to use hand controllers

2.5 brings with it the ability to use the oculus (and I assume Vive) hand controlers to press buttons in the cockpit

 

I have two questions

 

1. Can you do the equivalent to right click?

 

2. How are people using them? Best solution I have found to date is to have the left controller on my lap and when needed grab it, but any other innovative solutions out there??

 

I was hoping I could move the throttle virtually with the hand and then potentially could retire my warthog throttle - but not an option currently (as far as I can tell)
