FZG_Immel Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 not sure if this has been reported, but when playing with defered shading, the IR laser from your own plane is not visible. Additionally, the IR laser from the JTAC is barely visible and doesnt appear has white/light, but appears black and almost not visible. Anyone else having the same issue ? Thx ! Sokka Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 I have encountered this too. The IR pointer of the targeting pod is black as well and quite difficult to see as you said.
Flav Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 hi there, I was with Immel in multiplayer mission for testing IR Snaking from JTAC, and IR pointing from A10C TGP. I unchecked defered shading and everything works fine. My IR laser from JTAC works and appear full britness, IR laser from A10C (TGP) too. so, definitly a defered shader issue? regards
Sokka Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 I think you're right. With deferred shading off, the NVG sees the sparkle. Still the beam appears black in the parts not covered by the NVG, but it not easy to see obviously.
Mods-o_joy Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 +1, ran testing on Havoc weapons training server and on a private server, and in single player, same behavior. A10C - Block 5+7, AV8B/NA Harrier, F-14B. Pentium G4560, GTX 1050Ti, 20GB's total, 1x16GB Kingston Hyper X, And a 1x4GB Avexir Core Series kit, fleamarket mouse/keyboard, i swear it works fine :megalol:
Sokka Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 The issue is still there, now running the stable 2.5 release.
