ragman33
Hey sorry if this isn't the right place for this, but I'd like some help with editing a mission that me and a few buddies have been using. We've been using this mission as a practice mission to get used to different planes as they come out and we buy them, and I was wondering how I'd go about changing the types of enemies that the mission spawns. Right now it spawns Mig-29K and Mig-27k's. I was thinking of changing what we face so we can use some older aircraft. Like spawning MiG-15's for the Saber to go against and so forth. I'd also want to change the ground target types to maybe some different AA and Sams. Pretty much what I'm asking is where do I find the file I have to edit to do this? Is it embedded in the .Miz file? I mean it has to be right? Sorry if this is basic stuff. Most of my experience is editing ARMA stuff so the LUA is new to me. ESAc_matador
Open it in the mission editor. Unless the mission is done by script. In such case, change the file extension from Miz to eat, and extract. You will see the scripts there. Add the mission so we can see it.

ESAc_matador
first change the .miz file to .zip, I mean.... Rename the file with .zip Once unzipped, you ll find a file "CASCAP infinity Nevada.lua" in one of the folders... have a look, modify and then get everything and compile to a zip file. And then rename to .miz.CASCAP_Infinity_Nevada_1.64.zipCASCAP Infinity Nevada.lua
BlacleyCole
Thanks I will make learning so much easier since I can do a mission the unzip it to see the actual programming that went into it plus be able to do part in the mission editor then add to it the stuff I have figured out in the editor or make conditional loops etc that would be time consuming or difficult in the me. ragman33
Thanks Matador. I've got it figured out now. Never would have thought to change it to a .zip. Never said I was smart. For anyone else whos looking; Aircraft starts on line 406 if you wish to edit the aircraft spawns. Theres a lot you'll have to edit for this. Ground units start on line 34. Looks pretty straight forward. Haven't gotten around to testing edits yet. Will report back here when I do.
