Hi all, First post here.

Recently did a fresh install of 2.5 and have been observing a very particular freeze circumstance... I have only been flying the F15c so far so it may be limited to that.. but the situation is as follows.

F15c

Instant Action/Freeflight

NOE/Low Level flying around the tree lines

will commonly freeze in cockpit while turning at 45 degree roll angle.

I can reproduce it consistently on one part of the map, but it does happen in other areas as well.... for whatever reason, it is always when the plane is at approximately 45 degrees roll..

At this point DCS 2.5 becomes unresponsive and must be shut down via Task Manager..

I have also noticed in monitoring, that my GPU instantly drops its load to 0%.. I can still see the frozen frame on the monitor and hear the audio..

I have tried this with multiple configurations in DCS settings and Nvidia Control Panel, and nothing so far has made a difference.. Also tested it overclocked on both CPU and GPU and still the same..

My most common DCS settings

And PC specs

Everything runs silky smooth at 60fps 4k Vsync.. Temps are all well under control but i keep running into this odd Roll Bug.. any ideas?

And now found something rather curious.. I run a dual display setup.. One 4k screen and a 1440p screen in portrait that i usually use for reference or monitoring...

I just noticed in Task Manager, that when i start DCS, it maxes out one of my cores... I usually then click into my reference monitor to observe processes and monitoring info while DCS is running on my main monitor.. when i do this, the DCS screen flashes and comes back, however, in Task Manager, the CPU usage on that one core drops to half of what it was running at and stays there through the duration of running DCS...

This time, I did not click into my reference monitor after starting DCS... that one core maintained high utilization... and i could not reproduce the system crash while in this state...

However, in the middle of my flight, I decided to hit escape, mouse over to my reference monitor, and click on task manager..

In doing so, as always, the DCS screen refreshed, and the CPU utilization on that primary core dropped 50%...

Returning to DCS, everything was just as smooth as before, using 50% less CPU.... but after a couple minutes.. the 45 degree Roll Bug returned... What could this be?

are you pressing alt-enter after you come back to dcs from your 2nd monitor?

it may go to windowed mode.

Thanks for the help Guys... would like to report that i have changed nothing other than unchecking full screen mode under DCS settings and have not experienced one freeze since.. Every setting is the same,.. just Full Screen unchecked.. Running beautifully at 3840x2160 with Vsync @ 60fps and not even breaking a sweat.
