oho Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 I have extrem Long loading times and would perhalps buy a SSD-Drive. Now the question: does it affect Performance while in flight too? I have 16 GB Memory and 6GB video-Card.
StandingCow Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 (edited) You will notice a lot less studdering (if you notice that now) and your load times will be a lot better... but even with an SSD the load times are pretty long right now. So I would say it is 100% worth it. Edited February 6, 2018 by StandingCow 5900X - 32 GB 3600 RAM - 1080TI My Twitch Channel ~Moo
=Pedro= Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Separate SSD for System and for DCS is a must. One thing I don't understand are the people upgrading their RAM due to the problems with joining to MP servers. It's WIP and will be fixed sooner or later. FistofZen Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 I used to run 1.5 from the SSD, day and night difference from the HDD, fast loading, no stutters afterwards. Sadlym 2.5 takes a lot more space and I can't run it from ssd any longer. Am I special?
