I use a monitor arm for my jstick mount. However mine is attached to my chair not my desk. But they does work amazingly well for them. I do recommend you situate it so it swings horizontally versus vertically for stability in the set position for usage.

Awesome thanks, I think if mounted to a back leg of a desk the one I linked would provide enough rigidity for use without needing to be modified. I’d idealing like one with lockable joints. But idk if I’ll be able to find that

I have the mount the OP posted. I used to use it for a second monitor. Personally, I do not think it is useful for a joystick since it does not lock into place and would have a tendency to move when you try to move the joystick.

Not for a yoystick but I did use one for my mouse which was good.
