The rate at which the aircraft trim works is significantly affected by frame rate. Low frame rates = very slow trim rates. I notice it most when moving from VR to flat screen. It's still obvious when in flat screen and running missions with large numbers of assets, which seems to rule out VR being the culprit.

yep completely true, I tested by dropping graphics to very low, trim works like lightning, as you up the graphics it slows down, pretty annoying waiting n flying for a minute for the trim to catch up, surely its just like a slew rate increase/decrease?

Thats a general DCS thing. Happens in all modules. Goes for camera adjustments too. Pause the game and camera adjustments are lightning quick.
