Mouse cockpit look behaviour

I noticed that the logic of the mouse wheel button used for looking and moving around the cockpit has changed...

 

Before:

 

Mouse cursor enabled by default.

Double wheel click

Mouse cockpit look now enabled, wheel used for zoom.

Wheel button hold

6DOF cockpit movement, wheel used for moving back and forth.

Double wheel click

Back to mouse cursor mode.

 

 

Now:

 

Mouse cursor enabled by default.

Double wheel click

6DOF cockpit movement, wheel used for moving back and forth.

Single wheel click

Mouse cockpit look now enabled, wheel used for zoom.

 

Now you can double click again to switch back to cursor or...

 

Wheel button hold

6DOF cockpit movement except moving fwd and back doesn't work.

 

 

Is this a bug or intended behaviour? It's somewhat annoying to use it that way to be honest and I would definitely prefer the old logic with the mouse look being default...
