Yesterday I got my HOTAS Warthog which replaced my X55. Initially I was worried, that I have to use the TARGET software and program every single button, like i had to do for my Falcon BMS 4.

I got surprised positively, really amazed.

I plugged it in, launched DCS and went into the F5 and A10C config. Pressed the buttons and by magic all keys were already assigned. Specially the A10C was matching the labels perfectly.

Hey, if one thing ED has done right - This one is for certain

A big thank you

TARGET offers some expanded functionality (like programing command macros and such), but for basic assignments there's no point in bothering with it at all, as standard DCS interface is more than enough for the job.

Warthog is programmed to work with A-10C module out of the box, because, well, it's Warthog :D.

Keep an eye on the duplicated assigmnets for all other airplanes, however. The game creates crapton of them for the Warthog as well and it's a good habit to go through the assignments table and remove them first to avoid some stupid, unwanted inputs in the middle of the mission.
