Can an online server be put into Active Pause?

I was just on a server and after I landed, I pressed F2 to look at the other aircraft, and they were all paused while many were 'flying'. But not moving.

 

I thought a server could not be paused after it was started? I had just landed, so I don't know if I was paused or not. I should have gone back into my aircraft and tried to move it.. I don't think I was paused, or it happened exactly after I pressed F2.

You can pause a server by pressing the pause key on your keyboard. Look at the top right corner for the pause symbol.

 

Could be the server crashed, some times other units will be still and you will still be able to fly.

That makes sense. I'm used to seeing aircraft continue flying straight after a crash in IL2..

This pause does not allow users to Input controls on their aircraft. I guess active pause is not available on MP, even if hosting..

 

Please consider adding this feature as it would be very handy in training other players..
