I have some dificulties with setting up my firewall.

Atm i am only seeing about 25 servers in the multiplayer screen.

Everytime i refresh i get about this amount of servers.

I've added the rules for DCS with ports 10308 UDP / TCP in my firewall,

but still no joy.

Im using the Eset Smart Security Premium and used this information for setting up DCS in the firewall;

https://support.eset.com/kb3112/

I did even turned of my firewall, just for testing with DCS.

Still no joy, it didn't change anything.

A friend is hosting a server and i couldn't find his server.

Im running DCS World Beta 2.5.0.14304

I'm getting my internet from my televisionprovider with this device: Ziggo Mediabox XL gw 7400

I have also added the Port Filter for DCS with still no joy.

Hi,

You've just blocked port 10308 with the port filtering rule. You don't need to open a specific port, unless you're hosting a server, then you need to set up a port forwarding rule for port 10308, which should point to your internal IP of your machine. I recommend you uninstall the ESET firewall as it messes up the TCP/IP stack of your OS and let only Windows Defender do its job. Let us know how it went.

Cheerios!

Thank you Amazingme.

I have removed the port filter 1038 from my mediabox and uninstalled Eset Smart Security Premium from my pc.

I have just tried it and tonight i found about 42 servers.

It seems the problem is not Eset Smart Security.

A friend found, at the same time, about 90 servers.

We have the same version of DCS World 2.5.0.14304

I have just tried the multiplayer lobby and refreshed it a couple of times.

This is the amount of server i found;

52, 44, 38, 37, 72, 43, 38 and 44 servers.

When my friend was hosting i couldn't find his server to, but when i host, he has no problem to find my server and was able to join.

I dont know where i have to look for solving this.
