Best HOTAS under $100?

What would you say the best HOTAS under $100 is? I have an extreme 3d pro, but the spring is way too stiff. I can't aim properly at all. I prefer "lighter" sticks. I was looking at the Thrustmaster X12, as it is affordable, and seems good. Anyone have any experience with it?

Tm X or 4 is rubbish - low cost/quality potentiometer in all axes, low frequency USB controller borrowed from gamepad - is just a generic OEM product re-branded as "Thrustmaster" an even is not supported by TARGET.

 

The "best" low cost HOTAS is Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS ($50 - Amazon) plus Thrustmaster TWCS throttle ($65 - Amazon).

 

The "best" (features/quality) in joystick under $100 used be in VKB Gladiator Mk.II "vanilla" ($99) - but this model was discontinued.
