hellking Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 I really enjoyed the first mission. It was like playing a dedicated high quality WWII game. But I cannot play mission 2 because the mouse cursor does not show up?? I can see the tool tips appear as I move it around but I cannot see the cursor itself.. Maybe it is because I play in VR? I have re-started and the problem is still there. Does anybody else experiencing the same issue?...
kurtz667 Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 (edited) I sometimes have this as well on all modules in VR. I've found that if i spam the middle mouse button the cursor might reappear after a couple of clicks EDIT: I didn't realize this post is 2 years old lol. Maybe this still helps someone :music_whistling: Edited March 21, 2020 by kurtz667 Spoiler Modules: FC3, KA-50, MIG-21, F-18, F-14, UH-1H, Spitfire, F-5E, A-10c II, A-4E, SC, F-16, CA, M2000c, BF-109K-4, Mi-24P Terrains:Nevada, Persian gulf, Normandy + Asset pack, Syria PC setup:I7 8700k, 32g ram, m2 ssd, gtx 1080ti, Warthog TM, MFG crosswind, Playseat Air Force, Reverb G2
grifnizzle Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 I know this is a bit necro, but I did notice mission 2 vr performance tanked hard. Take off, form up, and ingress were fine/consistent with other missions in vr, but once over the target area, ESPECIALLY after the smoke rounds impacted, VR became a slide show. Didn't seem like a particularly unit intensive area but way worse performance when compared to the other recce missions.
gorzasty Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 (edited) I have spikes every 2 seconds in VR, in mission one, after crossing the front line... It look like CPU bound, because my GPU is ta 70% utilization max. Follows ED info: " Recommended VR systems requirements (VR graphics settings): OS 64-bit Windows 8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i5+ at 3+ GHz or AMD FX / Ryzen; RAM: 16 GB (32 GB for heavy missions); Free hard disk space: 120 GB on Solid State Drive (SSD); Discrete video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 / AMD Radeon RX VEGA 64 or better; Joystick; requires internet activation." My hardware is ten times better, but VR is unplayable. Tried everything - to lower settings, turn off wake, delete saved games, delete fxo and metashaders. Is it OK ED?
