Hey All,

Recently had Oculus Runtime crash while an hour into a DCS mission. Headset went blank, and now Oculus won't start back up with DCS still running. It's not the blank headset driver issue (I'm on the safe 388.59 version). I'm not worried about why Oculus crashed (their software hasn't had a great track record lately...)

What I am trying to figure out is how to get my headset back up and running without losing the progress on my mission. I know the usual fix is to restart the computer, or at least restart DCS, but I don't want to lose my progress. Now if DCS had a save function....

Anyone have any luck getting Oculus back up and running with DCS still running? The message I get when I try is the standard "can't reach Oculus runtime, may be updating..." message that seems to be their catch-all for everything.

Thoughts?

there is no saving feature as i know off however when i get issues like that all i have to do is to go to the search, type "services" once they are open scroll down and find the vr runtime right click on it and select restart is exactly like you restart your pc and everything works great again:P
