Map n arm

Whenever I check the map (f10), the map is fully zoomed in. So 8 have to zoom out prior to seeing what I need, is there a way to set the zoomed in level ?

 

Also, on the close air support mission, the very first one, can you rearm and refuel ? I can’t seem to be able.

The map defaults to whatever position and level of zoom the .miz was saved in. If this is unprotected content, you can open the .miz in the editor, set the map how you like, then save it.

 

You should be able to rearm and refuel at any blue coalition airfield provided your engines are completely shut down. FC3 aircraft are unable to hot rearm. Setting your armament via the mission planner is also an option.

The miz wasn’t saved, it’s the one that comes with the Caucasus map, is there no way to fix this ?

It was saved at some point when somebody made it or it wouldn't exist. ;)

 

If it's not protected content: open in mission editor, change map settings to taste. File -> save. If it is protected, it won't let you save and there is nothing you can do about the default map zoom. Simple as that.
