Uclipse Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Hello! I've just recently purchased the AV-8B Harrier on Steam and had 2 days so far in it. I've been watching a whole ton of videos for so many hours and I can successfully takeoff and land using VTOL and start from cold and dark. I'm still practicing. However, i'm really stuck on trying to use the Mavericks. When I lock onto a target (Let's say AA vehicle e.g) using the DMT, and then uncage my warmed up IRMV. I press the Sensor Select Switch Forward (Made sure it says IRMV), and then pressed TDC down.. err.. The problem was that the uncaged maverick screen didn't lock onto the target at all. Instead, it locked/moved to the sky where the planes nose is facing and it's very aggravating because I have to go around and set up all the camera's again and hope that the camera doesn't drift off when I press TDC down. Also, i've seen lots of tutorials. They have lines in their HUDS. When I was trying to use the MK82 bombs, I didn't get any squares or circles in my HUD. This is what my HUD looks like. See in the middle, there's no lines whatsoever. Any help would be really nice! I've been trying to figure out the HUD problem for so many hours, it's driving me insane hahaha. I thought maybe it was a bug, or a button I missed?
Dave317 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Turn your nav system on. It's the rotary switch in front of the stick. Move the stick to the left or right an you'll see it.
Uclipse Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 Yeah, @Dave317. I always turn that on upon startup. I make sure it's on NAV, which it is. ^^
Tello Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 You need to activate your Nav and your Generator and from what I can tell your cm and rwr are also off. same with your radar altimeter. Congrats with your Av8B [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
LazyBoot Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Also make sure your textures are not set to low, or else some hud elements may be missing.
Uclipse Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 That fixed it, thanks LazyBoot! Just had to change textures to high as it was set to low, I didn't know haha. Thanks! The lines now appear on hud
