BlacleyCole Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Well after trouble with dcs crashing time after time the other night on multiplayer I looked up the FPS command kB command and today I logged in and checked my frame rate it was in the 20-22 range then I disconnected shutdown everything then over locked my cpu logged back in to map mode and pulled up the FPS and it is still in the 20-22 FPS range. I believe my computer spec are in my signature I’m running the oculus rift in dcs native mode I need help setting the dcs, oculus, and Nvidia setting to optimize everything. I never noticed a lag or anything but I’m running about half the minimum FPS recommended. BlackeyCole 20years usaf XP-11. FragBum Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Okay for me i run deferred shading which is a FPS eater in it self but the next FPS eater is MSAA and Pixel Density I run MSAA at 2 and PD at 1.2 and get consistent 45FPS which is fine for me in Rift. If I increase MSAA or PD I quickly get into lags and low FPS. Other settings like texture and shadows i run at high which seems to work for me. try turning some of those down and see if you can get a nice compromise with detail and FPS. Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

I never noticed a lag or anything but I’m running about half the minimum FPS recommended. I think a big problem is your CPU speed to be honest bud. Im 100% sure 2.4ghz just will not cut it
