Some MP issues

Hi,

 

Since the latest update i have noticed that the MP connection is very fast on the 1st try (AO server) but then it goes and stays on the spectator menu and i need to quit DCS.

 

Now i don't have a powerful system , it's like a 9 year old one with 8GB (but some issue with 2x2 GB module and i had to make it 5GB with two 512x 2 DDR2 modules).

 

AMD X4 810

5GB DDR2 800Mhz (it was 8GB)

AMD RX 550 2gb DDR5

 

NOW LET ME FIRST SAY THAT I AM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE AS I VERY KNOW THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS BUT CURRENTLY THE BUDGET IS TIGHT.

 

Before 2.5.1 i had decent performance with medium settings and was quite happy, but since yesterdays update DCS loads up much faster and even connects to the MP server much quicker and in the 1st try if the player list is around 15-20. But now i am seeing that once i connect it stays on the Spectator menu and will not respond. Attached is the log file.

 

If it's due to the memory and the CPU then i am looking at the AMD Ryzen in the next few months. I am sure the RX 550 will suffice with decent settings for now.

unfortunately with the system spec below minimum for DCS you will have to try reducing settings to low, turn MSAA and shadows off.

I have shadows to off and MSAA is disabled too. will reduce all for now and check

 

Will give it a try again.

Nevada works on MP.

Also wanted to know if objects / AI / trees are CPU bound or GPU.

Connecting now works fine and infact i am seeing increased fps
