When i start game, Aircraft engines are not running

Used to use the game before here, and this never happened before- tried both my computers here - got the same thing-

 

the F-15 has no engine power, and goes down after the game begins with it flying in a chosen section- Training not selected, this was during the other selected option start points that it takes place-

 

Why is this happening? Why doesnt the game play like it used to?

 

Both Computers here have processors above 1.3 GHZ, and the larger one- a Dell has 2.2 GHZ

It has to be- it never did this previously

 

BTW- the aircraft begins in flight, not on the ground :)

 

The Quick mission bar id where I have this happening...

 

the jet is flying with its engine gauges showing idle thrust, and this never happened before. Manipulating the throttle gives no result, even tho joystick does show good control of all other flight controls...

 

 

It never happened before this last time i loaded the game into my rental Dell Dimension C521, and the same thing happens in my other computer, a hybrid generic no name ASUS motherboard with a Athlon AMD chip of 1.3 GHZ speed.

 

WHY does this happen?

I have always had idle thrust (V1.12a) until I move my throttle when staring either in the air or on the runway. If you use the keyboard commands to increase thrust, do the engines respond? If so, check your joystick axis settings and make sure that 'Thrust' is still set to the correct axis.
