Ok I’m new to dcs started late nov with patches of inactivity mixed in. Now I’m home got my pit about 50-75% of initial desires. Fly with rift vr. Have several addon apps like jet seat, srs, lotatc, TeamSpeak, and VoiceAttack with Viacom , only can hear chatter in game in training it recognizes my words in game no joy.ive tried some Mp servers and saw things I would like to build in my own missions like farps with helo pads and other items. I’ve learned in me to plot a course with triggers, haven’t done anything in the trigger yet.., learned to select paint scheme for ac, and the one mission I did fly for practice was placing a couple of Lhas and a carrier off the coast and flew from the lha buzzed the carrier came back around and landed hovered around some flew off deck and landed and shut down. I was proud of both building the mission and flying it.

Ok what to I use to place buildings, tech etc. from md acs I have

Also if I want an ai ac to fly the same mission so I’m the wingman how can I ? Or must I be the lead and he the wingman, can in flight can you swap out positions?

That’s it for now.

There is no built in functionality for you to fly in the #2 slot at this time. You can create an AI with the same flight plan, but he won't wait for you or issue commands unless you manually build these into the mission using triggers as discussed in your other thread. The biggest problems are that the AI use a different flight model than player aircraft, due to the processor load that would be required to compute PFMs for every aircraft in the mission, and they tend to make very abrupt maneuvers when changing waypoints.
