harf4ng Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 (edited) Hi, I have started the UN campaign. I have crashed a few because of engine fire before understanding that I have to checked the engine temperature so it stays in the green part. Means, I guess, I should be careful to not have too much collective. Means as well that I have to be careful not to go too fast. Then I didn't understand where to land to finish the mission. After checking the starting map I understood that I went on the wrong runways, the good ones are farther away. But hey the voice-over didn't give me detailed enough instructions... I think I'll try again this evening to finish the mission. Now my questions is... At times the guy in my helicopter told me I'm not going fast enough, or that I didn't fly smooth enough. Are those really voice-over about my bad flying skills? Or does he always say that? This mission is very long and require a lot of flying :) maybe with an autopilot that would be less stressful... gerd Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Hi harf4ng, I believe the messages are played every time (e.g. in one of the following mission I was flying formation wing-on-wing, err. rotor-on-rotor, and he told me to go closer, so go figure...) About the landing spot - he tells you to let the MI-24 land first, so if you watch where they land, just take the next free FARP. Not sure if it was part of the first mission, but in the briefing the position of FARP was marked precisely. Hope this helps, I enjoyed the campaign in the past!
harf4ng Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 My issue was the game got a loading screen just when he talked, so was unable to read the text and didn't get all what he said :) Thanks for the infos...
