Wolixe Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I noticed some drop in FPS while flying the AV8B compared to other modules like AJS37 and A10. I noticed this on the 2.5.1 version and have never had this problem before. Owned the AV8B since 1.5. - So first I removed the shaders but that didnt work. - Next I tried the 2.5 release but that did not work so I went back to the beta. - Tried lowering my graphics setting, did not work. - Tried doing a repair on dcs. I noticed that while running the AV8B the taskmanager show that the gpu is working less than with the A10 and AJS37. Around 30% compared to 70% in my case. I have tried the instant missions with the AV8B and tried with the mission editor but the fps problem is still there. Attached a track of the free flight from the instant missions.AV8B Free flight.trk
Wolixe Posted May 1, 2018 Author Posted May 1, 2018 I think I found the problem. I had the latest Nvidia driver 397.31 and tried the older 388.43 and it worked. But when I turned on the Nvidia overlay that I always use for FPS in-game the problem came back. It looks like a problem with the overlay, at least for me. I am still on the 388.43 driver and will from now on use the in-game FPS counter in DCS
