Ok,

I’ve had Track IR3 Pro since it came out, up-graded to the vector expansion clip and have been happier then hell with it. Because I enjoy the natural point products so much I purchased the Track Clip Pro. Right now it works, but in no way as good as my vector clip. The Track Clip Pro is working like crap; it’s making my cockpit shake, it pans slowly and sticks at certain points. Anyone have a fix before I email natural point?

And the IR lights don’t turn off when you shut down the Track IR, they told me they will last for 11 years. I’ll be putting that theory to the test.

I do have the latest drivers installed.

You must edit your profile and set under Tracking: Vector to "Track Clip Pro"!

This should solve this problem! ;)

Rgr,

Had that set correct, went back to the vector (using the hat clip) and got the samething. I’m getting violent shaking, it’s like an earth quake…started when I switched to the Track Clip and getting the same thing with the vector. I’ve never had this happen before.

There is a window you can open (it's in the same menu as 'Heads' and 'Gauges'), but I can't remember what it's called, because I am at work right now.

Open that window and it should show you all of the light sources that the TrackIR is detecting. If it is just showing the Track clip, remove it, and see if any other sources show up in the window.

My point is that maybe the TrackIR is detecting another light source (from a window, lamp, etc) and it's affecting the performance of it. I sometimes get weird results with my TrackIR when the curtains behind me are open and the sun is shining in!!!

If you haven't found the window yet its view > tracking.. and if you need to go to settings and reduce filtering starting at about 100 and adjust downwards...

I was thinking about getting the clip but I don't like wearing earphones unless I have to.. I wear glasses and with the pressure of the phones pushing against my ears for an extended length of time they do begin to bother me...

so if the clip isn't that good I'm glad that I didn't order it....

Thanks for the heads up Guy's
