Carrier Air Wing Eleven recommencing recruitment!

Good afternoon,

 

The VCVW-11 is currently one of the largest organizations for DCS World Carrier Operations. Our current roster is up to 50 pilots. We are proud to support the veterans and active duty personnel we have on board from both the United States and Australia. We are honored to have a command staff member who was in Carrier Air Wing Eleven on the USS Carl Vinson during Operation Enduring Freedom after 9/11. Not only was he with CVW-11, He was with the world famous VF-213 'Black Lions' during that deployment.

 

Our last batch of Officer Candidates have passed basic flight and have been sent to the fleet ! I'd like to announce the recommencing of recruitment for the following squadrons within Carrier Air Wing Eleven. Please visit our website below, read our SOP's and apply today! VF-213

 

VF-213 will be flying the F/A-18C until at which time the F-14B is released.

In a wonderful middle finger to history we will be sending the Hornet to the boneyard and putting the Tomcat in her proper place, on the deck.

 

 



 

The VFA-97 'Warhawks' will be flying the F/A-18C and is our newest Hornet squadron.

Taking her place among our two full squadrons VFA-154 'Black Knights' and VMFA-232 'Red Devils'
