Ladder action

Hi all, as the title says, will the ladder to climb in the aircraft be operational on the F/A-18C ?

Of course it’s not a mandatory option and even more in EA but it would be a great detail to have when you wanna grab a coffee at the next fuel station ;)

As long as it's only implemented view ground crew in radio menu. As there is no way to drop the ladder from inside the cockpit.

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully it’s already modeled and just need some script. As the A-10C have this option it would be awesome to have it also on the Hornet.

I would be very unhappy with this if I wanted to quickly egress the aircraft on the ground.

 

Naa. Sliding down the horizontal stabs it fun.

Ahah totally agree with you and the donuts could fall on the ground too so a ladder is mandatory ;)

The flaps are pretty steep when your looking down from the wing. Plus if the stabs are really dusty you can get some good speed. But the best part is if the jets on fire and the pilot is unconscious the 020 tells you to pick him up and slide him down the nose.

Stabs with traces of hydraulic fluid, combined with early morning dew make for a quick and surprising slide.

I have seen some pics of the DCS F/A-18C with the ladder implemented although I am not sure if this can be activated by players or it is just shown in the parked static configuration.

Oh very nice thanks hopefully it’s already implemented and now needs some script to add a radio command to ask the ground crew to deploy it

Likely a quickwin for ED. The model is already there ;)
