I just got a Thrustmaster T1600 joystick and throttle. Running Windows 10. Each device plugs in via its own USB cable. An issue I am having is that the game allows me to select one or the other but not both at the same time as controllers. I did install the Thrustmaster drivers as well as the Target software. Is there any software that makes it appear that the two devices are the same device, with more axes (e.g., throttle can be used with the joystick) so I can program the devices within the game or do I have to program my devices within the Target software rather than the games configuration screen?

This is normal since they are individual (USB) controllers - one don't depend on the other (like X-52 joy depends on X-52 throttle).

And this don't cause issues in modern games, e.g. in DCS just assign commands under each controller name.

Anyway you can use TARGET and create an virtual device with both, not sure if the number of axes will be issue (Windows 8 axes limit).

Stick has 4

Throttle has 5

Thanks. To be honest, I have the X52 Pro and thus was confused when the T1600 and Throttle were being treated as separate devices. I guess I need to dig into the Target software.
