Drop Tanks Empty

Hi

When I enter a Mission with Drop Tanks they are empty.

Can get them filled if I ask the ground crew to fill them.

This might be the same bug as on the Viggen.

Check the fuel state in the mission editor or selection screen. Any quantity below 100% internal will be taken from the external tanks and transferred to the internal tanks upon spawning, that could be happening.

Hi

Checked fuel at 100% in Editor and in Arming /refueling screen.

After Takeoff (when I switch to external Tank) caution light comes on immediately for X-Tank empty.

I have spent a good few hours these last few days exploring the SoH-map, using an F-5 with 3 large drop tanks. For me, they work the way they should.

 

Could it be a bug within that specific mission, or maybe with scripts?

I encountered this bug last night. I had a scenario set up in the Persian Gulf map and my buddy and I both had two smaller drop tanks on the wings and the large centerline tank. The centerline tank seemed fine but the wing tanks showed empty when I turned them on via the fuel panel.

 

Once I landed and replaced the tanks, it seemed to work properly.

 

Not a big deal but something none the less.

I did some more tests.

All without Mods on the Gulf map.

With small external tanks set up in Mission editor I get them empty.

With big external tanks set up in Mission editor I get them full.
