Pilotasso Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 http://www.extreme.outervision.com/ For preventing unwelcme surprises, I was planning to get a 550W PSU for my new system but found out I actualy need a 750W PSU to keep it sound over time. .

But im planing to get the new r600 from Ati, maybe i will have to buy a new PSU then. But i dont think so. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
Pilotasso Posted April 3, 2007 Author Posted April 3, 2007 Pilotasso, if you're really concerned, don't go modular either... I stoped buying PSUs with the case 3 years ago for my current machine and will never do again. The downside is that I know now that I have to spend at least over 100 Euro for a 600W PSU for my new machine (out of the 680W recommended) instead of 40 Euro for a 550W (similar to the one I have now). .
