Hey,

Forgive me if I am missing something, since I am not that experienced yet with the mission editor, but it seems the list of radio frequencies that are pre-programmed in the mission editor to be used in your aircraft as pre-selected channels, are only valid for the default Caucasus map, and not for any other map, such as the new Strait of Hormuz-map.

Since the new map engine and the tools required seem to be mature enough now, and new maps are in constant development, I wonder if it would be possible to incorporate some sort of script that automatically imports the relevant ATC-frequencies of that area into the mission editor, and by extension, every aircraft that mission makers put into a mission. That would save a lot of work for mission makers/editors to input the frequencies manually for each mission they create and each aircaft they put in, while also saving the people flying the mission to continuously have to input manual frequencies to contact the ATC of the airport/carrier they are departing from, or are inbound to.

This is especially relevant for modules without UFC, such as the Mirage.

If this is somehow already possible, please enlighten me

Thanks!

It's sort of possible - create a template mission for yourselves with the desired presets for each airframe. You can then simply open your template, ctrl+C your desired airframe, then create a new .miz (or open another existing one) and ctrl+V your airframe into the new map.

Obviously this only works if there aren't already triggers associated with a particular existing airframe in a .miz, but I would say in that case the responsibility lays with the mission designer to create appropriate presets if interaction with the AI is a requirement.
