Flapjack09 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Throttles don't move. In Axis Tune they move. Thrust L = Joy RZ Thrust R = Joy Z First Training module flying thru the boxes they work but Cold and Dark they don't??? I usually have problems getting the rudders to work but it's the throttles now. I made sure nothing else was mapped to the throttle. Could use your help on this one.... Thanks
Eagle7907 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 No TM Warthog Throttle Same here. Not sure what to do. I’ve tried looking over the assignments for OFF and IDLE. I’ve made the throttle detents OFF because when off the stops it’s actually pressing a button. I haven’t tested yet to see if that works. Too busy playing with other stuff. Mavericko Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Works fine for me. In cold and dark, did you press RALT + HOME and RSHIFT + HOME to move the throttles from OFF to Idle? That has to be done with keyboard without editing a .lua file.
Flapjack09 Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 I'll try that and see if it at least let's me move them. Thanks
DocSigma Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 The work. Just assign each quadrant to their appropriate key bind, off/idle, respectively. The issue is that the key bind does not resister on the up pull of the stick, but rather on the back pull, so it's sort of reversed. just do your startup with the quadrants out of the idle position, and when you want to move from off to idle in the cockpit, just physically put the quadrants back to idle at 25 or > rpm and you should be fine. Its a little weird, but it's what ive been doing. Flapjack09 Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 (edited) I'll try that tooooooo... I had a problem on the A-10 but if I moved them all the way up then back they worked fine but not on the F/A-18. Thanks UPDATE: The R ALT and R Shift worked. Off idle didn't. Thank's so much for the help...... Edited May 31, 2018 by Flapjack09
Antimon Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 OFF/IDLE works on TM Warthog throttle but indeed it's kinda backwards. Need to push the throttle over the idle detent first and then again to "flip the switch" YOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/c/antimonni PC SPECS: Win10 Home 64Bit, i5-2500K @4GHz, 32Gb DDR3, 6Gb Nvidia GeForce GTX980Ti, 2 SSDs+HDD CONTROLS: TM Warthog HOTAS / Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals / TM MFD Cougar x4 / TIR 5 MODULES: Almost everything!
Flapjack09 Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 Sorry, I ment to say starting the game with the throttles in idle and moving them to off. That seemed to work for the A-10. I did the R Alt and R Shift then assigned the off/idle detent and everything was working great. I have to say it handles really good. I'm a pretty bad NOOB and did a quick taxi then kinda ended up near the R/W. I said to my self... what could go wrong??? To my surprise nothing did. Flew out then landed it down the middle of the R/W. Course I had more BIT failure notices going off than a rabbit has babies! Also took off and landed with the parking brake on. Guess I have a lot to learn:) Amazing flight model and graphics!!! Thanks everyone for your help....
