What happens if you just give more left pedal?

Me and a commmunity member both have a small issue, the left wheel brake is actually the right wheel brake, and vice versa. Unless this is some weird specific issue with the Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder Pedals that we both use, the axis we bound to right wheel brake actually brakes the left wheel, and vice versa. Not a major issue as we can just rebind it, but it should be a very easy fix of simply renaming the bindings. PS. Right, worth noting: when you push the pedal brake axis you bound to the right wheelbrake, it's the right pedal that moves in the cockpit, but the left wheel that actually brakes. And vice versa.

Try to trim it out a bit before you liftoff. Give a very slight stick back and left, and a bit more left rudder, hit the Force Trim/Hold Mode - R/Up button, recenter the controls and then try. It just sounds like you're rudders aren't in the right position, or another axis is in the mix. Before I rebind everything, my pedals wanted to control pitch, my throttle wanted to controll rudders and so forth.

It's working fine on my Warthog throttle, so the issue might be on your end, I haven't heard anyone else with this issue.

I've never felt anything other then awesomeness when flying with Oculus ;) It's amazing when doing free flight or just fooling around, but I'm sticking to TrackIR when doing actual combat. The hud is fine in VR but the radar and other small numbers are difficult to read.

Works fine for me. In cold and dark, did you press RALT + HOME and RSHIFT + HOME to move the throttles from OFF to Idle? That has to be done with keyboard without editing a .lua file.

Yeah thanks, I just realized this few minutes ago -.- That's what I get for being away for too long, when I was getting re-familiarized I was using a source that mixed up the VHF radios. My bad.

As soon as I tune to a specific range of frequencies on the VHF 2 radio, for example 131.00 which is the Batumi frequency, it just emits a constant tone for as long as the radio is on and tuned to that frequency and a few other frequencys. I don't remember the exact range atm, but I'll check it next time I play. I can't communicate on it while it's like that. Rolling back to 1.2.5 did not fix it.

They keys are maped, I can use them to switch around but I hit something and now the center isn't my center. For example, at best I've managed to get my center well, it defaults to looking slightly to the right in the cockpit. So I can look in different directions, but when I hit 5 it snaps back to looking slightly to the right. There is a command called "Save Cockpit Angels" on RAlt - Num 0 which I've hit several times while I was mucking about earlier, and I guess that is what saved it but now I can't find a way to reset it. Well I got the camera back to roughly what it was, though since I updated to 1.6 and installed UH-1 I have huge loading times and I wierd lag.. Anyway, thanks for the replies.

yeah but numpad 5 isn't enough, I looked through the keys and I believe I accidentily 'saved' another view as my default, because when I hit num 5 it centers it in another location, not the actual center.

Hey, I got the UH-1 the other day and was gonna start with the training missions today. I accidentily ****ed up the view controls trying to remember how to use snap view (remember it later), and now I can't freakin reset the view to it's default mode, anyone know any keybindings to completely reset the view? It doesn't matter if I restart the game, the view is still altered everytime I enter a Huey, wether it's in a mission or in the editor etc.

The radar on the JAS 39 is classified. I had the oppurtunity to fly the militarys own JAS 39 simulator that they use for training about 2 years ago but the guy in charge turned of the radar when we entered.

All indications are towards the Legacy Hornet.

That thought crossed my mind too, but I have no previous knowledge of Cortex so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they succeed really well.

Interesting, I didn't know about it since it was in the wrong forum section, should have been in "Third Party Projects". Anywho, AWESOME! Finally an F/A-18E in DCS, I just pray that the quality is on par with ED developed aircrafts, like the A-10.

They are developing those, but the thread was created before they started. However, aircrafts like the F/A-18E that has roughly 60% of the votes is not being developed by any third party.

Quite frankly I think it's time DCS reveals what the secret jet they are working on, actually is! :P
