Spitfire and joystick problem

I've assigned all my essential controls to my joystick (trim, throttle, brakes, pitch and roll etc) and they all work fine in training session. However, in instant flight only the pitch and roll control works...but nothing else. Am I missing something?

Make sure you have the right Spitfire module selected ( sim or game ).
