Vorden Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Last weekend I was able to host sessions just fine flying around the Persian Gulf map, now this weekend I host the session but no one can see it. I even tried disabling windows firewall and totally bypassing the router, and still no one can see it. Trying to connect with IP just results in a 'server offline' result. The only thing that has changed is the most recent patch and F/A-18C DLC, anyone got any ideas what is going on or had a similar issue? Thinking it was maybe the plane, tried hosting a session with just A-10Cs on Caucus map and still no one can see it. Cheers,
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 2, 2018 ED Team Posted June 2, 2018 Hi make sure dcs is allowed in the firewall, the port 10308 is open in your router and make sure everyone has the same version as you if you use a vpn, dont. Whenever I leave my vpn on no one can see my servers. that should be enough to get you connected Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Vorden Posted June 2, 2018 Author Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) Well I bypassed the router and firewall to no avail so perhaps it a version issue, I'll look into that, thanks! EDIT: Yeah it was because a patch came out between today and Wednesday, ha don't I feel silly. Still, not sure why I am having to manually run the updater to find patches now hmmm.
