COMM1 Switch selects COMM2

Not sure if I've understood the best practice for the radios at this point but when trying to use the communications menu

 

COMM Switch - COMM 1

and

COMM Switch - COMM 2

 

keybindings both change the COMM2 radio channel to 'M' and frequency to the intended recipient.

 

I've tried deleting the keybindings for the above and use buttons on the joystick but get same result, keybinding for "communication menu" is also blank.

 

What are the "COMM Switch - MIDS A" and "COMM Switch - MIDS B" for?

Hmmm, that might explain a problem I've been having with VAICOM Pro, where my comm1 messages only get sent when I press the comm2 button. I had been thinking it was a VAICOM PRO issue, but this behaviour would be too much of a coincidence.

Also, if Comm2 is already on frequency chn-M, then the comms menu doesn't seem to work sometimes when either pressing the comm1 or comm2 button.

(after playing about, this seems to happen after pressing any button in the cockpit with the mouse)

 

If I select a preset on Comm2 and then hit the comm2 button, AWACS greyed out, but selecting it automatically switches and function works ok.

I've tried to circle the radio I'm pressing with the mouse before using the menu so you can see which radio I'm using.
