Has anybody problems with manual waypoints?

 

 

I was testing manual Waypoints and want to test it with bombs in AUTO mode on th Waypoint (AUTO-mode).

 

 

 

I did this like in the video showing

 

 

So when i tip the coordinates in the UFC it never match with that what he shows later on the DDI. I mean in the video also it not match to 100% but in my case the difference is bigger.

 

 

 

So just for example when i put thees coordinates in UFC -> DDI (so left numbers i tip in UFC rightt numbers he show after that in DDI)

N 44 57 31 -> 44 57 51

 

 

N 44 39 47 -> 44 39 78

 

 

This are just 2 examples u can test it with like all coordinates some of them have smaller difference some of them have bigger difference. Is it just not accurate or a bug?

 

 

So let´s say i wanna set a tank on a runway of some airport and set a manual waypoint on this coordinates for a bomb (auto-mode) it will actualy not work cause when u fly to the waypoint it wil not match on the runway where the target is. i have the diamond and can auto bomb on the waypoint.. buut for what of the waypont is not on the right location?

 

 

So again is this a bug or this works just not accurate?

currently the UFC takes coordinates in XX°YY'ZZ", but in the HSI it is displayed as XX°YY.ZZ' , so it converts them to decimal. That is the discrepancy you are seeing.

 

Hopefully it will get fixed some day in the distant future, so we can input decimal Lat/Long into the UFC.

This is correct.

 

 

If the TGT designation is off your actual target set TDC to HUD with sensor switch up (you will see a dot inside the VV/flight path marker & slew the TDC to the intended target.
