dmwierz Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 I've been configuring my TWCS Throttle Controller for use with the Hornet, and continue to run into the same problem I've had in the past with the flappy things (paddles) that are located in front, when I try to use them for zooming. In VR, there seems to be no way to bind these to their obvious use for Zoom In/Zoom out. The VR Zoom is a momentary contact thing, and I've bound this to one of the yellow buttons just above the paddles, but would really like to use these buttons for something else. I believe it's because the paddles are considered an axis in DCS? Any suggestions? i9-9900K @5.1Ghz w/ 32GB RAM, RTX2080 Super w/ 8G, Samsung Odyssey VR HMD, 1 TB SSD, VKB Gladiator MKII, TM TWCS throttle, Saitek Pro Yoke, Saitek Throttle Quadrant x2, CH Pro Pedals, Obutto Ozone
Gearbox Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 You can probably use TARGET to assign the paddles as "if pushed past x%, do this button press" but you'll have to delve into TARGET to figure that out.
dmwierz Posted June 11, 2018 Author Posted June 11, 2018 Thanks. I've used Target before to set up configurations, but it never seemed to enter into DCS' VR configurations. Something funky seems to happen when you select VR. i9-9900K @5.1Ghz w/ 32GB RAM, RTX2080 Super w/ 8G, Samsung Odyssey VR HMD, 1 TB SSD, VKB Gladiator MKII, TM TWCS throttle, Saitek Pro Yoke, Saitek Throttle Quadrant x2, CH Pro Pedals, Obutto Ozone
