DDSSTT Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Is there a way to select which fuel tank to feed from while in cruse? For example, if I am flying to a target, I do not want to use half of my internal/external tanks and jettison external tanks if I get intercepted leaving me with not enough fuel to fight my way out and get to a tanker...? squid509 Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 i believe it dose this by itself already the only question i have is if you carrying 3 external tanks witch one it will empty first the fuel page on the DDI dose not say how much fuel is in the external tanks
DDSSTT Posted June 14, 2018 Author Posted June 14, 2018 I thought it did automatically to, but I noticed that my IFFE would read like: 9800T 9750I then i would look later and see 8500T 8450I Like both my external tanks and internal tanks are feeding at the same time or am I completely off the glide slope here? boscoh Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 (edited) Yes. On the fuel selector panel, move the EXT WING or CTR switch to STOP and it will stop fuel flow from that tank. You can verify by using QTY button on the IEFI. You can also use these switches to transfer fuel from external tanks to internal tanks. Believe it's the top position "ORIDE".
