Sparrow launchers causing excessive drag?

Would 4 sparrows + launchers really cause more drag than 8 1000lb bombs + racks? Seems wrong to me.

I made a mission with 2 hornets everything equal except one carrying 8 bombs and the other carrying 4 sparrows(on the wing hardpoints).

The one with bombs maxed out at Mach 0,97 at 20000ft and the one with sparrows maxed out at Mach 0,90. Both at 100% mil power.
