X52_Professional_HOTAS_x64_8_0_150_0

This new driver is extremely stable on USB 2.0 and 3.0. You can keep both the programming software and joy.cpl control panel open at the same time while playing and configuring mapping.

Cool! The weakest point in all my years of flying with the Saitek X-36 USB, X-45, and X-52 Pro was the stability of the drivers. Eventually, I they always stabilized good enough for the current version of windows, but there was a big gap between Win98SE and WinXP that kept me from migrating to WinXP for a long time. The jump from WinXP to Win7 64-bit wasn't exactly painless either. I am curious as to whether the current production of the X-52 is made as well as my original production release or if it still suffers quality control problems that arose when MadCatz took over Saitek.

streakeagle good question...I have the Saitek X52 Pro still works great after around 8 years but would like a newer joy stick with hall affect sensors like the Warthog. Since I don't like pedals that eliminates the Warthog. Edited by fitness88

FYI. The hard center on the WH is a PITA. I would turn my attention towards russia if I was to purchase new hardware.

Yes, I've tried a couple of WH on display, there is a stiction issue that makes small movements difficult. I spoke to techs at TM and they said no one ever complained so they didn't know what the issue was doh.gif

Once I have you on the phone...'attitude select switch' I understand it switches between INS/AUTO/STBY but what exactly is the purpose of it?
