Hello,

I'm asking this cause I will be far from PC for few days and I would like to know if an idea is applicable of not.

Crates such as "ammo crates" have logistic effects in the game? I mean:

  • Does an ammo crates or a fuel crate enable ammo & fuel availablity in an ATC-only FARP?
  • Does an ammo crate placed next to a ground groups have the same effect of a M-818 (infinite ammo to the group)?

I would like to know if missions where a void FARP can be "activated" by placing an hummer and unloading crates nearby is possibile or not.

PS: CTLD options to "create" vehicles isn't an options: I'm talking about standard DCS World code only.

Thanks!

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Confirmed negative, no logistic effects by crates.
