Raven_Morpheus Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 (edited) Probably not the correct sub-forum for this... But can anyone here tell me how to setup OBS Studio so that it doesn't impact on framerate but I get a nice clear recording in 1080p with no compression artefacts? Thanks in advance. Raven_Morpheus Posted July 8, 2018 Author Posted July 8, 2018 (edited) Thanks. The file size comes out a bit large using those settings though. I just recorded a 57 minute mission and it came out at just over 7gb! That's far too big to upload, it'd take hours for me! Anyway of reducing the filesize without compromising the quality? EDIT - nevermind. I think I chose the wrong setting. Just recorded a 10 minute video, it came out at 148mb, times that by 6 to get the filesize for an hour long video and you get 888mb, so far more manageable. No loss of quality either it seems.
