xavnl Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Hi, I played the ILS tutorial (Mirage 2000). Final approach course as stated by the script is 119°, according to the official AIP it's 126°. That can't be the difference between true and magnetic headings (dev is 6°), it's always magnetic on charts. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Frederf Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 It's 119 ish in DCS, magnetic, for the usual years. There's a kind of grid projection skew due to the shape of the DCS world. Measure the heading of a line of longitude around Batumi and you'll see where the ~6-7 degree difference is.
