Turnip Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 If had a few occasions where ( thru no input on my part ) the landing gear just drops for no reason. I could be at 400kts and then BOOM, the gear lever drops and down they come. Anyone else experience this?
Revelation Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Nope, check your key bindings. Make sure nothing else is set to deploy your gear. Win 10 Pro 64Bit | 49" UWHD AOC 5120x1440p | AMD 5900x | 64Gb DDR4 | RX 6900XT
Turnip Posted July 19, 2018 Author Posted July 19, 2018 I thought of that but again, my hands were away from everywhere.
Banzaiib Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 I thought of that but again, my hands were away from everywhere. Are you using the x55?
Talonx1 Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 Had similar problems with x56. Throttle was sending random signals. I rerouted the wires for the hotas keeping them away from other things hooked up to usb and it went away. The x55/56 seems extremely vulnerable to cross cable interference. This wasnt something I take credit for finding. A thorough web search returned lots of people with the same problem.
Papa Spardy Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I have this problem with the x-56. buy its gear and flaps. which are both toggled by the same switch(up/down)`
Talonx1 Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Most commonly (for me) it comes from whatever is assigned to the 3 toggle switches across the bottom of the throttle. Its stopped doing it now for the most part but had my hook drop on its own once again tonight. First time in days its done it. In any case (imo) its pretty safe to say its a control issue and not a hornet or dcs bug.
