External lights

Hi,

 

I cannot figure out how to turn the external lights on. After turning the battery/APU on, I try to turn on all the external light switches on the right-console, but nothing happens. Formation lights set to on also do no work.

 

What am I doing wrong?

On the left console, just under the canopy rim, next to the seat adjustment switch, there is a 3 way switch, EXT LT. Click it forward to NORM.
