after years of flying lockon, i have only just today made my first track file.

it was a short and sweet affair just to see if it worked ok, using the quick mission for the a10, i swooped down and took out a tank, then was abruptly attacked by a ground vehicle with a small turret, tracers flew over the fuselage and rounds took out my right engine, slam into the ground and game over.

that was enough for me to experiment with.

well to my delight i worked out how to replay the track, and viewed the action from the tank i blew up, watching the a10 come in over the mountains and launch a missile right towards me, then boom.

then i saw you can loop the track for continuous playback, so far so good.

i am intersted in being able to just replay the action part of the track, ffw/rewind and change view etc as it plays, but i couldn't work it out.

i will take a guess and say that since pause works like normal, then i guess game speed could be done the same way for slow motion, but how to rewind is what i need to know.

my question is:

can you control the track file like a replay and rewind/ffw/slow mo etc, or is it purely for replaying the entire track from start to finish, thanks.

i am beginning to understand the attraction for moving making.

please no "read the manual" answers, that is getting old:thumbup:

just helpful advice if you have some would be great, thanks.

the controls you have are just for forward: pause, accelerate, slowdown, and normal speed.

unfortunaly you cannot rewind and I think that after making some camera movements you cannot adjust in a next track (recording of the same) some of the positions ... lets say... in the middle.

Some true movie making tools would be neat indeed. I remember the movie director part from the "Driver" game... eh, old times :)
