Anyone else have problems with any Viggen weapons after patch?

The Viggen has problems with the RB-75 Mavericks, after this last patch. I have problems with the crosshairs not opening and closing and locking on a target.

What's more weird is that I have problems with both the release version and beta version. More so with the Beta though. I only started having problems with this weapon after the very last patch, but really haven't used this weapon in many, many months, so maybe it is unrelated.

Can you describe in a bit more details what's going on with the crosshairs? What modes did you set, etc. I don't understand what you mean by "not opening and closing". Help us understand. Thanks!

cannot slew and lock the targets with the mavericks. Tired with both the keyboard commands and joystick. No response from the scope. Unable to lock target through scope.

 

 

Only seem to go bad after the last couple of patches, but cannot pinpoint the exact patch. I might try to do a repair on the modules. I spent a few hours trying to find the problem. I have both the release and Open Beta versions of DCS.

I haven't used the Mavericks in a long time, but have used other weapons.

I used RB75 only yesterday and it work fine (even though I'm having trouble actually finding any targets before I'm too close and have to avoid enemy fire) :doh:

Yes, the long overdue contrast and brightness for the Maverick is desperately needed. Been a long time coming!

I think it's fixed.... something got changed in my controls... but, the scope is very hard to see objects...… contrast or?????

It is not just me, others who fly the Viggen have noticed some problems now with not only the scope (not being able to see correctly, with not being clear) to weapons either hard to lock or not locking, or both.... something bad happened with either patches, updates, or other!

Mine is working normally. But as a VR user, I have problem with EP-13 boresight not being clear. So Heatblur, can you please add an option for EP-13 display when it is on ?

 

Something like this, it's the cure for poor vision.

Part of the problem here is the long overdue EP-13 brightness and contrast control that is still missing. See p24 of the manual.
