Wish DCS: F-16C would be F-16CM(F-16 CCIP) with both Block50 and Block40 WAR HUD model.

Osan AFB located south of Seoul has 36th FS with F-16C Block 40 and 25th FS with A-10C.

Kunsan AFB has 35th FS and 80th FS both uses F-16C Block40.

Current Korea would be one of the best theaters for DCS too if F-16 came out.

i dont recall Wags specifying the exact variant of the F16C that was planned as a future project, other that it would be an F16C,

 

 

this could mean anything from block 30 to 50/52 or even ones with CCIP upgrades.

 

 

For all we know maybe we will get 2000s Era F16C block 40, or 50 (CCIP).

 

 

I mean they ought to so we have JHMCS and other features and that are comparable to the ones the Hornet will get is it progresses out of EA

but they still arent specific enough which variation F16C block 50 such various Pre CCIP iterations or Post CCIP upgrades ( circa 2000s)

 

 

 

 

 

For the longest time people only knew the Hornet would be an F/A18C, and past a certain point was it specifified it would be a Lot 20 with OFC13 software, circa mid 2000s ( along with confirming various further upgrades such as JHMCS, Aim9x, AMPCD display, AlE47 CM suite etc)

Id rather have an F16 that is of a comparable time frame and/ or capabilites to aircraft like the A10C and F/A18C lot 20, both of which are at least 2005 -2006 at the earliest in terms of available tech, and technically later timesperiod ( if looking at when the A10C was first sent for its overseas deployment)

 

 

and thus having and F16 equipped with either Litening 2 AT or the Sniper ATP over obsolete Lantirn, and if possible have JHMCS and aim9x Integration ( which came just after CCIP)

 

 

Hell even a dev from razbam confirmed that the F15E will come with Sniper ATP and not Lantirn, thus putting it into a 2000s timeframe as well.
