falcon_120 Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 I know there is some great scripting already done by some users which basically turn the very basic SAM behaviour into something a bit more advanced. For example not engaging until well inside the NEZ, or blinking of Radars, etc... In the absence for a proper rework of the SAM AI (Until ED decides its the moment to give it a go) I would love to see somehow these scripts integrated into the engine a bit more hardcoded. Basically i would love that this kind of script would be used in almost all missions and campaigns (existing and incoming), so you don't need to download such script to use it in your mission. If the piece of code and algorithms already done through LUA could be integrated at a lower level (into the engine) we would have a much better IADS behaviour and I would think it could take little time from ED since the thinking of the algorithm is already "done".
