Overriding the preload limit

I'm going to be soon getting another 32GB of RAM, mainly because I will be doing some video editing and CAD work.

 

So I was thinking would it be possible to over ride the current upper limit of the preload radius to take advantage of that in DCS?

 

Would it be possible for ED to increase the limit if there is no way to over ride it at the moment?

C:\Users\userName\Saved Games\DCS\Config\options.lua has an entry for it. Could always try modifying the number there. Unless the game itself, and not the UI for that entry, has a hardcap of 150000 then it should work.
