Quip Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 So with this rather unusual configuration I have been able to force a new bug I think... The Bk90's I fire will hit the side of the hill, even though it's set to approach at 200m (TAKT 912000). It's like it does approach/terrain follows at the higher altitude, until it finally gets into the final approach stage when it descends to 60m (which is its default altitude) and thus hits the side of the hill... See this film:
RagnarDa Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Just a quick response without checking the documents but IIRC the attack altitude is always 60m. The approach altitude otoh can be set with TAKT. DCS AJS37 HACKERMAN There will always be bugs. If everything is a priority nothing is.
Quip Posted August 18, 2018 Author Posted August 18, 2018 Ah, ok. So in that case, @putin: to defend yourself from Bk90, place troops on hill tops Good to know. And again: add that as info in the manual :)
Quip Posted August 18, 2018 Author Posted August 18, 2018 But another observation from the same tests: Do the Bk90 terrain follow in MP at all, or are their behavior more like a simple glide bomb? Asking because during our flights lately, it seems that they're simply gliding in MP...
RagnarDa Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Bk90 is terrain following in MP too DCS AJS37 HACKERMAN There will always be bugs. If everything is a priority nothing is.
